Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012


The Miller’s Tale Wahala Dey O! premiered in 2012 at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, C Venue, to acclaimed four star ratings and glowing reviews. The play attracted a variety of theatre goers; from curious Chaucerian, English professors, bored students, wanderers, home sick Nigerians, English expatriates and colonialists, and those in search of a good time…Staging the play was a challenge but working with such a talented cast of actors, this challenge was quickly overcome. A primary aim of the production is to make an impact on the social education of the audience, while entertaining them as Chaucer intended. The universal message of the tale was not only achieved but the African ebullience, conveyed through colour, movement and music, left the audience with a feel good factor…
